Basadi in Music Awards 2026 – SMS Voting Competition FAQ

My SMS vote was not submitted or my message would not send.

In some instances, a Mobile Network Operator (MNO) may decline an SMS before it reaches the Basadi in Music Awards voting platform. This usually happens where the MNO’s fraud prevention systems detect activity that may resemble vote farming, automated messaging (bots), or other suspicious traffic. If the SMS is declined by the MNO, the vote is not received by BIMA.

If the SMS is rejected before reaching the BIMA voting platform, BIMA does not receive the vote or the fee. Any billing query relating to a rejected SMS should be directed to your Mobile Network Operator (MNO).
